Elif Kocaarslan
Hi, I’m Elif Kocaarslan, a Turkish delight born and raised in Munich! Currently, I’m studying Entrepreneurship (M.Sc.), specializing in Science and Technology, at UvA & VU. My journey into the start-up ecosystem began in Germany, where I gained two years of experience in Sales at a SaaS start-up. Completing the Baby VC Bootcamp (Batch #4) then opened up the VC world to me, sparking a deeper interest in this field.
While being at ASIF, I pursue the following objectives: first, acquiring practical skills from the VC perspective; second, getting involved in Dutch start-ups. I am looking forward to being a part of the dedicated and talented Deal Flow Team and making an impact in financial decisions.
Building relationships is something that I consider an instinct, however, I also possess analytical skills and focus on the growth of the business. Having sales experience has improved my ability to see good business ideas; thus, combining this with working in the start-up culture allows me to understand the elements of building a successful and scalable business.
